About the Artist

I am a mother and a grandmother living and creating in Sidney by the Sea, British Columbia, with my husband Hank and our little dog, Murphy. Surrounded by ocean air and West Coast light, I draw daily inspiration from nature, movement, and colour.

Jewelry has been my passion for over twenty-four years. What began with a simple jade bracelet purchased at a local flea market—and the thought that I could reimagine it—sparked a lifelong love of design and craftsmanship. That first piece led to years of exploration with glass beads, wire, and evolving techniques, eventually shaping the style I am known for today.

While I am best recognized for my work with copper and silver wire, I enjoy working across a variety of materials, with a special fondness for seed beads. After moving from the Canadian prairies to the West Coast, my work naturally shifted toward organic forms and natural themes. Living in a place where hummingbirds remain year-round, I found myself drawn to their energy and grace. My beaded hummingbirds have since become a signature of my work—each one completely original, each one unique in colour and spirit.

Quality is never a compromise. Every piece I create is thoughtfully designed to be durable, distinctive, and beautiful jewelry meant to be worn and cherished for years to come. I specialize in custom work, collaborating closely with clients to select colours and materials that result in truly one-of-a-kind pieces.
